The older I get the more I realize there is not any material possession that means one thing to me........I'm serious.....we are all just a work in progress.....God didn't create me to make me happy....He only created me to make me holier......so there is nothing I can own, or do, etc. except try to ask Him to make me more Christlike.....I fall short every day, but I will never give up on thanking Him for a roof over my head and food to eat.....etc.

My dad, who was a police officer, got shot in the chest during a bank holdup. The bullet entered his lung, and because of that he couldn't talk properly. He was in the hospital for 4 days before he died. Because he couldn't talk, he would write us notes if he wanted to talk to us. The last note he wrote to me said, "I love you, Princess." I have the note framed and on my bedside table. It's my most prized possession.

My bicycle. In all its forms, bicycling has been a major cornerstone in my life for 15 years. It has kept me physically fit, relieved stress, been a source of refreshment, joy and challenge, and I am always learning new things about myself when I ride.

This is going to sound soo... predictable but it IS my cell phone.
It has everything I need an organiser, calculator, camera, etc but it does make me feel a little too "needy" toward it, lol.
