First of all I'm not trying to be shallow...Ok well this question is shallow but I just wanted to know which is better? You would think a relationship with a person of average "prettiness" or whatever you want to call it would be better than dating a model right? But in my case it was actually switched but I was just wondering about you guys and girls... Or you could say it doesn't make a difference.

It shouldn't matter if you're prettier or uglier. The only thing that should matter is feelings. If you have deep feelings or -better yet- are in love with this person, why waste time on questions like this?
Many people think it's better to have someone better looking because it makes you look good, but then there's that jealousy.
It's good to have someone equal to you; but at the same tiem like I said, it doesn't matter. Looks aren't love in the end.

I believe TheChinaDoll has it down pat. Its how you mesh with a person that matters. If you are already shallow and is dating another shallow person, then who is going to care about the other? There will be conflict if you are both just looking are for yourselves as individuals and not as partners...

It's better to date on the same level. I try to date those on my same level.
However, people "get used" to looks, and a really good looking person can start looking neutral after awhile, same with ugly.
But in the end, personality is what matters.

if this is a serious relationship then u should date someone wth morals and compassion and someone u admire in someway and share common beliefes and dislikes and wtvr eles bec uer in the relationship wth the other person not someone eles ok? i hope i made sense but attraction is important too. love and respect others and u will go far. (im cute in real life so i dont have a problem getting either )

You should both be the most beautiful person in the world to each other. But since that probably won't happen I'd say you are better off being slightly more attractive than your mate.

well first of all i would say that it is better to be with someone because of their personality rather than looks- i think good looking people tend to be a bit more vain adn focus more on themselves compared with ugly people who seem to be more nicer well that's my exoerinece anyway. I think models would be more focused on the way they look

Shouldn't make a difference. If there is a difference in your head, it is a problem you should solve for yourself before you get someone else thinking they're inferior.

I really don't think that it makes too much of a difference, a person's personality and how you two mesh together should be most important.
