i'm reading it right now, and it seems reasonably clear which parts are supposed to be partially true, and which parts are supposed to be mostly fictional, but i'm interested to see what other people think.

It's a wonderful book, isn't it? A great ride.

Of course, it's a spoof so it takes elements of history and current culture and tweaks them.

Robert Anton Wilson was also interested in Quantum Theory so much of that is laced into the stories as well.

How much is truth? I'd say a lot of it, presented and then spoofed. Certainly most of the secret cults actually existed, the historical figures as well, and the time frame (except John Dillinger on the grassy knoll, lol).

A melange of truth and fiction, of course; but I haven't fully trusted anyone since reading it.

It has as much truth as the Bible, the Koran, the Upanishads and the J.C. Penny lingerie catalog.
