how can i delete current yahoo e-mail and change to different username/password etc....?

Sign out from your current identity and create a new account. Your old account will disappear after a few months of inactivity.

On every page u visit on yahoo after signing in, u will find ur ID on the top of the page. Below that u will find My account. click on that. U will be asked to enter ur password. Enter that and after that u shall be taken to ur profile which can be edited by u as per ur requirement. There u will find the link of change password.
