It says it cant connect to the internet because of a firewall but I changed all the settings in my computer (i think) to remove the firewall and it still says the same thing. I had kazaa before and never had a problem installing it but I uninstalled it cause I was having problems with it and now I cant install kazaa or lime wire. How do I allow these programs access to the internet?

Ok, but be careful with those programs. Try to stick with mp3 files because I think those are safer. At least I've never had any problems, but I know of people who have had viruses downloading non-music files.

So disable your firewall. Then, also check Windows Firewall in the Control Panel and make sure you have Limewire as an exception.

Your firewall is blocking the installation to your computer. How you unblock depends on what type of firewall you have.

Like in some answers here, even though I paid $40 Kazaa-Lite-Pro membership, it has slowed down my computer and my computer acts funny when I'm on K-Lite-Pro. You are also taking a big risk for hackers to get in your computer.

I use it to download albums to see if it has enough (about 3) good songs and if I want to buy it. As a musician, I know how much time and how much money they have spent to get there.

My family almost got fined for using kazaa. Its illegal. Instead, get an ipod or mp3 and ask for itunes gift certifcates on birthdays. Thats probably worth less than fines for both Kazaa and limewire!

Your Firewall is smart enough to know the dangers of those sites.
They are loaded with viruses, spywall etc.

Stop stealing. If you don't think the music is worth any money, then don't buy it. If you listen to it, pay for it.
