You might not like the sound of this but it really works. Baby oil after you shower, it feels greasy but towel dry and it leaves a great residual. Just be careful to rinse the tub as it can get very greasy. Also take Vitamin E, it is great for the skin. Avon also has a product that is called skin so soft and it really works. If you absolutely just can't stand the greasy feeling than try the victoria secrets angel lotions your skin feels like silk. Good luck!

After you get out of the shower, instead of drying your hands off with a towel, put on a few drops of baby lotion. The water on your skin dilutes the oil and the oil traps the moisture in.

Actually what moisturizes best is water, we put the lotion on after a shower to keep the moistness in. Keep experimenting with lotions and you will find one that doesn't feel greasy.
It really does help your skin stay young and resilient.

I cannot tolerate the "greasy" crap that is out there. I cannot have anyone put lotion on me as it goes back to my mom that got me by the hair of the head and washed my face. Lol.
I have found a lotion that is amazing. "Oil Of Olay". Non-greasey, and now I am using their soap. This lotion is amazing, and not very cheap. It is also good over the entire body.

If you feel greasy it's because you are using the ones that contain oil for people with dry skin. Look for water-based ones. You might want to try Cell Block C New Cell protection. It's oil free and very light weight.

eat/ingest the right kinds of oils including and don't laugh coconut but also fish oils ( omegas ) and flax seed oil - do not ever ever ever use corn or other mcdonalds fries type oils - partially hydrogenated will kill you and you will look disgusting dying - don't eat packaged foods and if the list of ingredients of anything is more than like 7 or 8 or 10 then probably it is going to make your skin look dry and malnourished. smoking cigs is not good at all either - moisturisers that cost a lot lot unfortunately tend to work better than those that are cheap - sucks but it is true. good cleanser is same way - damn i wish it werent the case. fred segal has made bank on me and i am so frugal there too.

most lotions simply plaster your dead skin cells on and make you skin greasy- which makes it look temporarily healthy.
try moisturizers that also exfoliate- look for those with Alpha or Beta Hydroxy- i like eucerin for my Ichthyosis.
"HYDROXY ACID skin care is one of the oldest and newest market options in skin care. Centuries ago, women applied old wine, sour milk, lemon juice and other acidic products to help reduce the signs of aging. Today these products are more refined and are known as hydroxy acids.
Alpha hydroxy acids derive their name from the molecular composition of the acid. These products include the subcategories of glycolic, malic and citric acids. These acids dissolve easily in water and can penetrate readily into the epidermis and upper dermis. The overall effect is upper skin exfoliation. Oily skin must be cleansed prior to application in order for these acids to be effective.
Beta hydroxy acids, namely salicylic acids, are also named from the molecular composition of the acid. These acids are unique in that they are readily absorbed by the fat properties of the skin. Skin is composed of water and fat molecules that limit penetration from the outside. Different from alpha hydroxy acid, this acid is unique in that it can penetrate into the pores of the skin. This helps clear the pores and exfoliate the skin. Beta hydroxy acid also has anti-inflammatory properties that result in less irritation, burning and stinging."
the best thing you can do is improve your skin from the inside out- by drinking plenty of water and taking vitamin E.
