Hello and good morrow! Ah, are you here for your fortune. The stars tell me, ah, yes, you will have good luck. Ah, see the way the stars are in line with the sun, see the relationship there. Oh, you don't want your fortune, ah, then you must be here for navigation. When your sailing to far-away lands, remember that the brightest star is always pointing to the North. Now the dragon is a constellation that will guide you on your journeys, and it looks like...what? You 're not a sailor, you don't want to see what the stars are saying to you, then why are you here? Oh, yes, I forgot, that a messenger told me some folks from the future (future..ha ha) were coming to visit, and wanted to know what I do, and how I perform my job. Oh my, I never introduced myself...

My name is Thespis and I am an astrologer. My job is to view the stars and see what luck they bring us. As everyone knows, the stars are from heaven and tell us our fate. Their position explains how our lives will go, and how each day will differ from the next. To find out what these heavenly-bodies are telling me, I use astrological tables to determine the relationship between each other. The relationship of these heavenly-objects, communicates to me, the luck I and others will experience as well as what our future will hold.

As an astrologer, I also help with navigation. I explain to sailors and merchants about the constellations and how they can help to find your way when traveling. I speak to people about hoe to identify constellations, what they mean, and how they can be used as a tool for navigation.

The stars are also important to alchemists, of which you can see my friend Cosimo about. You probably know that the sun, the moon, and the heavenly-bodies known as planets, tell how successful alchemists will be, and that each represents a different metal. The moon and stars also are used as a calender, and a way to signify dates.

Well, nice meeting you. Come back when you want navigation directions, or when you want to hear what the stars are telling you. Grammarcy and fare-thee-well.

Hi. They try to guess what your future will be based on what stars you were born under. Not very scientific but if the predictions are vague enough (like a fortune cookie) sometimes they are right enough, often enough, so some folks believe them..

Nothing useful. They try to make predictions based on the positions of the sun, moon, and planets, but all such predictions are hogwash.
