Download messenger and shortcut to desktop suitably. I think you have done it.
Now step by step logging in::::
Click icon on desktop
Feed yahoo ID and password and click "sign in"
Click "Messenger"
Click "Yahoo!chat" "Join a room"
There is list of categories. Click at "+" against category of your choice
Then select a room
Click "Go to room"
Click "enter chat" after blue strip is full
Lo you are in chat room
(i) Enjoy what people are communicating on left portion. You can also contribute
(ii) On right side is list of persons in chat room. In case you take your cursor on the name, it will give you brief particulars (mentioned by participant).If you choose to select or some body selects you, chatting by yahoo!messenger will start.

1)find someone to chat with
2)make sure they want to chat with you
3)start typing
4)press enter
5)wait for response
6)answer their response or question
7)continue to type back and forth and b4 to long you have a conversation going on.....I hope this helps....Good Luck and GOD Bless.....

start yahoo messanger
then sign in
then send invitation to your friends
when he accepts and you are online (sign in in messanger) and he / she is also sign in then you can chat

omfg u are indian, me is NDN also, i seriously dunno what ur on bout, get AIM, Trillian(has aim,msn +yahoo), yahoo, or msn
if u wanna chat wit sum1, just download the program by searching a download source on a search engine and then get sum friends and add their names to it..................
