Give him a little gift basket, think of some occasion or just to say thank you for being a great boss, put a good deodorant soap, nail clippers, after shave, hand lotion, back scrubber and scratcher, face cloth, and hand towel etc. Then tell him to make sure he try the soap because your (husband, dad, boyfriend whichever fits) really likes it.

Depends on who the boss is. I would leave a stick of deodorant on his desk though.

you can just put a can of deodorant on his desk when he is not there if you work in a large office he won't know who did it.
