How can i figure out if one of my friends has aol instant messenger and how do i get there screen name?

Ask them, or use the search feature. I'm not entirely sure where it is, since I haven't used AIM in years (I use Trillian), but it's in one of your menus. It should say something along the lines of "Find People". Just follow the onscreen instructions. Thsi won't work however if they have it turned off... There's an option to turn off the search feature, so your own result won't show up.
