Think about how you could turn boredom into interest. Of course, this isn't easy if your teacher is dull. You could always imagine she/he is saying something completely different!

Write poetry or work on a short story; do homework from a different class (less to do later that night); write a nice letter to a friend, do up a schedule for the week; make a list of things you want to accomplish in the short and long term; study.

Tell your teacher, but be constructive. Tell him or her exactly why you are bored and what you believe would make the class more interesting. my students always complaing about class being boring but they cant tell me what to do to make it more engaging.

Well , I usually bring along a favorite book I can read when I am in desperation ...Or maybe just do some classwork or maybe doing any hw you may have !!!! I know my answer sounds corny but that's what I would do instead of wasting precious time!:)

pay attention! no. you can just pretend to write notes on what the teacher is saying but really be doodling. though make sure to look up once in a while to make it seem like your really paying attention

I typically doodle, pass notes in class, or daydream.

I sometimes opt to write poetry though...
