It seems like sooner or later most women, in America at least, decide that their personal sense of self-satisfaction is more important than thier families and the lives thier husbands have worked to the bone to build. Where are the women that prize loyalty, devotion, family, and lifelong monogamy? China???

I think most mature women prize loyalty, devotion, family and lifelong monogamy. However finding a man who is secure enough in his masculinity to work as a partner in a marriage is difficult to find. Your responsibility as a husband is to make sure that your wife needs are taken care of. Physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual, intellectual and sexual.
If you have done all those things honestly, not to YOUR standards but to hers. If you have put her first in all things, if you have respected the person she is and actually put the effort into her growth as a woman, and she cheats on you, neglects you, or demeans you, then run for the hills.
If your act is clean and she's self absorbed, then you need to move on to someone who will thank God every day for bringing such an incredible man into her life. Don't settle for less, unless you are giving less. Then you get what you deserve.

Ummm that's not all american women. I mean have you seen wife swap? Anyways, there are still women out there that love being house wifes I just think they are a little rarer nowadays. I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I love my family and am content staying at home but it's just not for some people. It's better to have a happy mom working outside a home then a miserable one that will teach unhappiness and bad family values inside the home :)

I am a stay at home mother of three children, 5 and younger. I was raised in a broken home and in foster homes. I didn't meet my father until I was 13. I made it a vow to have a family and make it more important than anything else. I believe that family is the backbone of our society. In order to strengthen America, we need to have stronger family values and raise our children in loving homes with discipline.

no, women like that are around, just give her some respect and know that just wants to feel useful, and if you make sure to give her the compliments and let her know that you appreciate all the work that she does at home and with kids, maybe then she won't feel so useless and will be happy to just stay at home and take care of the kids and the laundry and the dishes and the house and everything else that we women have to do, stop complaining and think about her for a second, maybe you are the one with the problem!

Well if you can't find someone who has the same beliefs in you, your jumping too fast into a relationship. There are many women that love the family lifestyle and put their families first as well. Keep searching!

its not the totall of making ones life happy,it is a bit of everything,its there husbund children,there life together what they do together,time they have with there spouses and the things they do together,time for them selves to do what they like be provided with things they want its verything not just family life
