For the simple reason men stay away from chick-flicks because it's b-o-r-i-n-g, lol.
I mean we all know the plane will land safely eventually, but we need to feel the rush of adrenaline through our veins, why else should we pay for the price of a ticket?!

Where would the excitement,suspense be-probably a dull movie and not many people would pay. Movies are meant to be escape from the ordinary,everyday things.
