Why would it be weird? I've seen bulldogs that remind me of Walter Matthau.

Are you talking about looks or actions? I would say no I don't think it is wierd. My cat Precious is just like me. I am allergic to tuna, everytime I have eaten it (and that's only a couple of times) I have gotten violently sick, everytime I have given her cat food with tuna in it she gets sick so now I make sure I don't buy anything with tuna in it. I've had this cat for 13 years and she is not a people cat. When I lived alone I would always know if someone was at my house before they ever got out of the car because she would run and hide under the head of my bed. To tell the truth I'd love to of done that a few times myself. Anyway my best friend always said that if something were to happen to me that Precious would not last long because no one else would be able to take her and she would be grief stricken. Oh well I am getting off the subject and I am sorry, I love my cat and I love talking about her. She sticks close to me at all times. My support system at work.

I don't think it's weird. I have seen dogs that reminded me of their masters. I think we choose pets sometimes according to our own personality's

Nope. It's actaully quite common, even when looking at a inanimate object, to think of someone you know. So much so, in fact, that it's beeen portrayed in comics. A Garfield comic comes to mind, in particular.

not really. it might not be the animal per se...but maybe something that that person has shared with u about that kind of pet...or he had a pet like that before...or u have gone to a petshop with him and saw something like that...or maybe u r just freaky :P

I once knew a guy who had a dog with beautiful blue eyes and I called him Paul Newman. It couldn't be weirder than that.

no that is what makes your animal so unique, that tells you how your animal is going to be. and if anyone says yes that it is wierd than they must not love animals that much.
