I'm SICK of this CRAP!!!!!?

Question

Geez I can't take it anymore! My aunt gives my sister EVERYTHING!!!! She takes her shopping for school supplies which were at least like $200 and I didn't get a thing for school until after it had started! My sister also gets to go shopping at the Gap and other nice stores and buy whatever without paying ANYTHING!!!! It's the little things that get me too... like the other day I went over to visit my aunt, had a great conversation, then she asked me what I was doing today & I told her I needed to go school shopping but my mom probably wouldn't have time. But how convienent she's busy everytime I need something! My sister will just go over and talk to her and they'll go out and do something, like grab a bite to eat, shop, whatever! My aunt also gave my sister a TON of jewlery that belonged to my grandma who passed away. I would like some too!!!! Gosh its sooooo not fair!! I don't understand why she doesnt' like me!!! And she's always saying she's the COOL AUNT! BULL****!Idk what to do

Too make it worse my other aunt is the same way! She takes my sister everywhere she goes!! UGH it makes me so mad!!!! What's wrong with me! GOSH!! I don't know what to do!! HELP ME!!!

I think you should talk to your mom/or dad so that he/she could talk to his/her sisters and explain that you feel left out, and that they should spend time and money on both of you equally or not at all. It does seem wrong that it is so unfair. You could also try talking to your aunts like an adult and explain that you're not feeling the love. However, acting like you are jealous that your sister gets more, etc. will only make you seem selfish. So, my point is to go about it like an adult and think about what your going to say... but definitely confront the situation.

I know it sucks, sometimes in life you will have people treat others different than you. I notice sometimes I may buy something for my niece and nothing for my nephew. I feel horrible when I do it, but I almost don't even think about it at times. If you are really hurt by this talk to tour mom or dad about it. I know you don't want to seem like jealous, but explain to them you feel left out. There is nothing wrong with the feelings you are having. You are only human.

You do have other relatives around... as well as possibly your parents. Cuddle up to them. Or maybe your aunts think you're old enough to earn and fend for yourself. Check your options and remember that the benevolence (or malevolence, for that matter) of others are earned, not inherited, privilege not right.

I know how you feel i was the black sheep of the family also...my dad treated me super nice ut my mom favored my sister and brothers ... what you have to do is just take sometime to talk to your aunt and tell her how you feel...maybe she dont know or does not realize what she does ...maybe she dont do it intentionally ....maybe if you tell heer how it makes you feel then she might change towards you...

well, for the shopping issues, just find a friends who would want to with you. then tell your aunt that you feel left out, and you would love to go shopping or something with her.

well... there is not really a way to help you too much, seeing how no one here really knows you.

Maybe you are a pain in the azz (not to sound rude), but take a look at how you treat her, versus how your sister treats her.
Maybe you are a little too bitchy.

And if that isn't it.. confront her and ask her... Its not like she's going to stop buying you stuff, if you arn't getting anything, there is nothing to loose and everything to gain...

When one person doesn't like you it might be them. When everyone doesn't like you; its you. Re-examine how you behave around your aunts. Watch how your sister behaves around them. Try to be more like your sister and you'll probably see a change in your aunts' attitudes.

Maybe it's your attitude. I'm sorry for you. But I'm like your sister. I don't have to ask for it they just give me whatever I want and somethings I don't want. Maybe ask your sister how she does it.

Talk to your parents. Tell them how much this hurts you. Don't WHINE when you talk about it and DON'T talk about MONEY they spend on your sister. That just makes you look jealous, bratty and spoiled. Talk about how they TREAT you differently, and see if your parents can intervene on your behalf.
