Okay, I have a Mac...I'm getting answers having to do with PCs.

using scan disk alot, seeing if constant error messages come up (mainly bad sectors)...click start->my computer->right click on the USB drive->click properties-> tools tab-> scandisk->check both boxes -> click start.

The mac software should, and i'm 99% positive it does have some type of check disk program, try the help section of the operating system.

My usb or magic stick works fine mine is fixed

one way to find out, put it in pc and then if pc can read then its fine otherwise its corrupted.

PC Cannot Read it, if it was formatted incorrectly, Virus Possibility, etc. etc.
