I do not think Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy will help a stroke patient. These types of chambers help with wound healing and trauma to the lungs. I think you need to talk to the Social Services Department at your local hospital or health department. There are treatment plans available, depending on the severiety. For instance, if her speech has been effected then you would need a speech pathologist, if her movement was effected you would need a physical therapist. All these services are available. Your mom is extremely lucky to have a child like you who really cares!

there are many applications for this type of treatment. my son went through 100 hours of hyperbaric treatment at eight months old to help heal massive tissue trauma and infection in his throat, neck and pleural cavity. at the time, he was the youngest child to undergo this type of treatment. it did help in his case, tremendously.
my suggestion would be to find the best stroke specialist in your area. you can also contact the hospital in your area that has a hyperbaric chamber to see what applications they are currently using this type of therapy for.
