I don't think we'd attack with guns initially, but somehow we'd be sure to get our society & culture in there. Since war is part of the society & culture, the would eventually pick up on it and then we'd have to attack because we would feel threatened.

My dear friend, your question is undoubtedly exactly what happened to the Native American Indians 250 years ago in American history.

In addition, your question is also exactly why I (A Native American Indian) can not live in my own country under the tyranny of the the US government. Nothing has changed in 250 years of history except the safety-pin was invented.

I agree with Jared_g here, that it is a given that man will do everything, and anything to possess power. Furthermore, you must be rather young and naive if you can't see that this exact situation is also happening in South America this very moment as you are reading this with the tropical Rain Forest and its peoples. Wake up and make a difference!

I think those are human qualities so we would be dealing with non-human life forces. If they didn't know about war and hate they might have some quality that would be completely foreign to us. Those qualities good be good or just as evil as our own. To say we would attack them because of their ignorance seems far fetched. I know personally I wouldn't attack them for it, but who knows what society would do. If they came here and started overpopulating, using everything they could and giving nothing in return...could we let that continue?

No we wouldn't because this has already happened several times in the very recent past. By (Now get this!) WORLD CONSENT any nonviolent civilization discovered is to be left STRICTLY ALONE. Only highly qualified persons are allowed to even know their location! (Will wonders never cease!)

Quite possibly. But I don't mean with bombs or anything. This all started with religion they would send folks over to convert all the ppl to christianity and make them change their ways so they could be more civilized like we are. Which would only destroy them too.

that wouldnt happen nowadays. the main reason we attack other civilizations, is to take something they had, mostly land and money. but with most of the land accounted for nowadays, the most wed probly do is charge them rent or evict them. now, if they resisted, that would be a different story.

i dont think so,,, the scientists would perform experiments on them and discover how they could stand not hating.... so we could, too, start to not to hate,,,,

but then, we end up influencing that civilization with hatred,,,o well,,,

science sometimes spoil all the fun,,, it drains the mystery and magic out of everything,,,

but i am not a science-hater,,, i like science,,,

hahaha,,,

if this civilization that you speak of does not know about war and hate then they certainly will understand these concepts much better after coming into contact with us...

meine liebe *liebe goettin* if rumsfeld were at the "defense" helm, along with the other psychopaths as support, i guarantee a pretext for attacking them would arise in moments, if that civilization had anything that the nitwits, or their "owners" wanted. nicht wahr? :-)

Yes, we did it to nature, why not do it to another unsuspecting bunch of organisms?

Humans take much pride in our ability to rearrange "external" circumstances.
