I had my navel pierced a little more than a year ago. Now when I take out my belly ring, I have a NASTY HUGE hole there! Is it permanent for the rest of my life or will it go away in time? Thanks.

no my sister got a belly ring piercing and had it close to a year and took it out. a week later the hole was gone

I used to have one but I let it close up. I have a small circular scar but it's not bad. I only had mine in for about 8 months though. I don't know if how long you have it before it closes up makes a difference though.

I took mine out three years ago and it closed up but you can definately tell I had it pierced. Kind of ugly!

it may or my not close you sound like you got yours streched a bit try a different guage and let it shrink to the size

it depends on how long you have it in. i think it might eventually close after a long time but you will have the scar there

after its been removed and is not so fresh it will shrink but you'll have a pinhole sized hole
