I used to watch those cartoon's where one of the characters would be getting chased by a car and then would just jump out of the way really quick and then one day i was out jogging and a truck was rolling up the highway at about 75 miles per hour and i had a feeling and moved really quick and right when i did the truck which was about to hit me swerved away from me and missed me. After that he got out and kept saying sorry so i told him not to drink and that it was ok. Then i went to an aa meeting and shook a built lesbians hand while interupting the meeting only to have everyone say that she wasn't a lesbian, but then again i just thought that because a few people from there said usually the really beatiful women are lesbians. She wasn't one but writing that was cool for me. And the people who said she was a lesbian weren't from the meeting and it wasn't me that said she was.

It was during my time serving on a warship. We had just left Cochin, India and we sailed right intothe Northern Arabian Sea during the moonsoon season. Just like the rest of the crew, I was still on the malaria medication, which was playing havoc with our stomachs and minds. That, and I was also on the scopolamine patch for seasickness, and that gives you some of the weirdest dreams you can think of.
During a night watch, I was really under the weather both from the medication and the grueling schedule and I fell asleep with my eyes open. Not only that, but I had the two strangest dreams. the first was seeing a 50 foot duckling waddling down Bank Street, in Ottawa, and the other was a plump, 8 foot tall woman wearing a hot pink Elizabethan gown doing a waltz alone.
Though being told that my shipmates thought I was dead after they woke me up was pretty odd too.

Years ago, I had gone over to the west side of Dallas to visit friends and stopped at a cafe to have a sandwich before going to their place. I sat at the counter and a waitress came over and slammed a menu down in front of me. I thought that was a pretty sorry attitude, but so what. Then she came back to take my order and before I could tell her what I wanted she began to tell me what a lousy SOB I was for having done Rita (I don't really remember the name) bad. To make a long story short, I tried for better than half an hour to convince her that I had never seen her before, and didn't know anyone named Rita. She would not be dissuaded. She called my John, or something, and by the time I left she was cussing me for not only cheating on Rita, but for being a chicken $h!t for denying it and claiming to be somebody else. That was more that thirty years ago and I still wonder if "John" and I looked that much alike, or if the waitress was just nuts.

One day at college, I was leaving to go to my early morning class (at 7:30 am mind you!). I had been up for all of about 10 minutes, so I was completely awake yet. As I walked out the door of my dorm, there was a GIANT duck sitting on the stairs. It looked at me, quacked, and flew away. Never before, or since, have I seen a duck on campus. It was completely random and way to early in the morning for stuff like that!

Fighting in a Police Action War which we the citizens , The voters of America took part in for 18 months or signed up for more because it was the American thing to do... for your country and then there are those that haven't come home or haven't been found well after 39 years. This police action that I am referring to is the Vietnam war and now..... here we are again...
Another country, another war, and how many will be coming home in a government issued coffin or how many will be missing in action..?
Pray for PEACE... Only You can make the difference.

Years back, I recall walking into my kitchen and seeing groceries on the table. I walked out and when I turned around, they were gone. I thought that perhaps they were items that "passed by" through time. Till today, I still can't explain it short of concluding that I had imagined what I saw.
