If you're having blood in your urine, it means the infection has gone deeper in your system, possibly into your kidneys. You need to see your doctor.

For a minor UTI where you have burning and frequency, eat a yogurt when you wake up and one before going to bed every day for at least a week. Any kind of yogurt is fine as long as it has Live Acidophilus in it. Also take a garlic tablet and a cranberry tablet. Drink plenty of water and stay away from sodas and pretty much anything sugary. The yogurt will stop your burning and frequency urges, the garlic and cranberry tablets will kill the infection, and the water will help flush it all out.

Usually when you go to the doctor for a UTI, they give you antibiotics, but they break down your immune system. Antibiotics should only be used when really needed. In your case like I said though, you should go to your doctor. You don't want to scar up your kidneys or anything. In the future if you get a UTI, try the technique I mentioned early on and you should be okay then.

If there is blood you probably have an infection nad you need antibiotics so go to a Dr. Yes hard sex can cause a UTI. It is recommend to pee before and after sex as this will evacuate any bacteria that could of reached the UT during sex. Men don't have this problem as their UT is long.
For very minor UTI, a lot of cranberry juice or other acid juices helps as it increases the acidity of your bladder, which bacteria don't like. Once again onc ethere is bloo you are past minor

Sexual activity after a dry spell can induce one or more UTIs. You do need to see a doctor for a script. Don't mess with this - a simple UTI that can be cured with antibiotics will, if left untreated, turn into a kidney infection. And that, my dear, is SERIOUS.

See your doctor, bottom line. And to comment on using cranberry tablets and yogurt for a mild UTI, do not do it. If you truly have a UTI, you need antibiotics. Cranberry pills are a waste of time. If you truly want the benefit of cranberry, you need to drink cranberry juice, the really stuff, not Ocean Spray.

If you are peeing blood there is something seriously wrong. It has nothing to do with sex. See your doctor.

no one can diagnose you over the internet, but anytime you have blood coming in your urine, it means there is a problem, it could be a bad infection, or it could be a sign of soemthing else...schedule a dr. appt.
