I am a biologist who travels the world looking for new plants and animals. As such, I was overjoyed when my neighbor, a local landscaper, told me he had a video of an undiscovered animal. He said he would sell the video to me for $300 dollars. Of course I paid him, but when I watched the video, it was a video clip of a discovery channel show about polar bears. I was enraged and went over to his house. He told me he had a real video of an undiscovered animal but this one will cost $900. Should I buy it? If it really is an undiscovered animal it could be priceless.

No! He knows that you are a biologist and he is scamming you into believing he has something that is not true. If he really had this undiscovered animal, he would have contacted the news and the media about it already to get a lot more than $900.00.
