I mean I log off but when my husband signs in it shows that I am still online, and visa versa with his.

That could be a sign you have a Trojan downloaded in your computer for Adware, tracking cookie, etc. You might want to check your firewall settings and do a virus scan

log off? i just close the browser window and it does it on it's own. then it makes me (or whoever else) sign in.
