The mosquito can take about 30 seconds to actually penetrate the skin with its proboscis, they are rather finiky and will change location often. Once the feeding begins, they will take anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes to completely fill themselves.
I know this because I used to feed (Aedes aegyptii) in our entomology lab, this species is the guinea pig of the insect world and we have to feed the colony that we raise in captivity.
Once full, the mosquito may never feed again, this of course is dependant on the species. If it is a short lived speceis that deposits eggs onyl once in a season then it may never come back. However if it is a longer-lived, more prolific species, then it may return for a second time.

Good Question, I hope that helped!

Not long, as they will only get a taste before being swatted as soon as I feel them, and I hardly expect them back, unless mosquito reincarnation is a reality.

In Texas that would be about 5 days to get their fill cause they are pretty big and as soon as one leaves another immediately takes its place.
