You could put your funds into a term deposit (sometimes called a certificate of deposit) at a bank or credit union. They are generally available for various time frames (6, 12,18 months etc.). Your money will earn interest but there would be a large penalty if you withdrew it before the maturity date. Just go to the new accounts desk and they can give you the information.

I have purchased safes in the past. As an equipment buyer I have done research on this in the past.
I suggest you find what size you need, type and style, next do a search under Yahoo, MSN, or Google for safe manufacturer, or Safe Wholesale. There are many pages on line with many styles and price points. Fifty dollars may be harder to find but they are out there. Many safe manufacturers make the safe to order, at times the dimensions given were off. Ask if they have any closeouts from a previous order. Always get a quote in writing, use that quote to show the other manufaturer that you had a better price, ask what can they do for you?
Good Luck,

I don't think you can buy a time delay safe for under 50 bucks. You're better off giving the money to someone so they can hold it for you. Or you can buy a CD from a bank, that way u can getinterest on the money and u wont be able to touch it until the time is up.
Good luck!

UMM, yeah they have things like that, it's called a bank, or a safety deposit box... why don't you try that, cause i dont think there is ne thing you can buy like that for only $50.... Maybe if your looking to spend $300-$600 and it doesn't have a certain date it will open on, only a combination!! Sorry dude, good luck with that!!

Not for $50. Maybe a couple hundred dollars.
For $50, you can get a lock box with a key.

A time coded vault safe will cost a lot more than 50 dollars. Time coded safes will run you at least 5k.
