I adored Strawberry Shortcake when I was 4 and 5- both those birthday's were total SS.

After that, it was Rainbow Bright. Barbies were big, as were Cabbage Patch Dolls. I like Care Bears, but they weren't big for me. Though, my 4 year old LOVES them. She has around 20 Care Bears (including 2 vintage ones that were mine).

I also really liked Jem.

I don't expect your vote for best answer, as I am a "boy" and you are a "girl" and I can't imagine you care a whit for Transformers, but I like your question. I have replied to similar ones in this forum.

My favorite two toys from the 80s were both Transformers.

First, Mirage, it was a gift from my parents at Christmas and the first Transformers toy I ever owned.

Second, Fortress Maximus, the largest Transformers toy ever built. I bought him on sale for $79.99 at Richman Gordman in Topeka, KS. In its present condition, with its original box and all its accessories, Maximus is probably worth about a $1000--if not more.

Woo-hoo!

Glow Worm. You know you squeeze em and it
lights up.Really a good toy if you're scared of the dark.I also liked Teddy Ruxben.A talking teddy bear where you put a tape in his back and he moved his eyes and mouth.I also remembermy dad bought me a remote control t-rex with eyes that lit up red.

Um not to be off subject but remembering the
toys makes me remember these two perfumes everyone wore in the 80's :Baby Soft and Tribe.
Do you remember Tribe.

I love love loved Cabbage Patch dolls, I remember I would save up my weekly allowance for months to buy new ones. Each one was special, and I would keep all their "birth certificates" in my sock drawer. LOL

I also loved PogoBall, if you recall, it was like a bouncy ball, but had a platform all around it. You stood on the platform and bounced yourself all around. LOL Silly the things we do as kids.
