You can love somebody, but can there be more, can love be replaced with another feeling, meaning more?

The word love has lost it's meaning through the years. The Greeks had several different types of love. The love you would show for friends, for brothers, lovers etc.
I think if we used words other that love all of the time it might mean more. I think that there is a kinship between the different types of love. More than the :"love" we so casually use today does exist.

Perhaps the feeling you have when you are not only in love with someone, but you respect and admire them as well? You know they are a friend, lover, confidant, companion, comforter, etc.?
Would this be like the term "soul mate?"

yea...i think that you can love someone but not really understand them or even be their soulmate....but i think when your in love with the right person...they will not only capture your heart but they will also challange you to think and become a better person and you will feel this amazing spiritual connection with them...as if though their brain and their personality were perfectly created to match you ....i have never experianced this but i really hope its true and that one day i will meet that person

Love grows with time and with it comes respect and admiration. If you have to ask this, then you are too young to be in love.

there are many emotions, but love is the strongest and in its opposite hate, they can be considered as strong as they can be, love can make you give your life for someone, hate can make you kill.
