Well, he wouldn't stop barking so I told my son to open the front door and show him there was no one there. He opened the door and the cat walked in! The cat was at the door waiting to be let in and the dog was the only one that heard him.

I don't have any pets but I think dogs have sensitive hearing and that may be the reason he heard the cat.

Yes, Animals, have an increased sense of hearing and hear better than we do, he knew he was there by hearing him and probably by smell as well! Completely normal!

all the time. but pet are very smart. my dog know when their someone here that's not supposed to be. before i know.
