Do not under any circumstance allow your little cousins to watch it.
It's not one of those movies that you watch in a group or something.
It's more personal.
It deals with a woman (Diane Lane) who decides to have an affair with a man she meets one windy afternoon. She's married as well and has a son.
This movie is about how powerful being unfaithful is. It shows what it's really liek to be swept up in a web of lust and deceit.
And it's quite good but it's intense.
And it has one sex scene that is quite intense.
So i don't suggest a younger audience.
Pick another movie like Crash or Good Will Hunting or Say Anything or Dumb & Dumber.

It is very good. One of my faves. And it is about exactly what the title of it says. Diane Lane who plays Richard Gere's wife in the movie pretty much has an affair with a younger french guy who owns a bookstore. And they do show where they have sex in the bathroom and a few other sexy bits. But Richard Gere kills the guy and at the end him and diane have a special understanding between them even if its not verbally spoken. I don't know how young you and your cousins are but I'd probably try watching the pacifier or something for the younger kiddies. Less sexual tones ni that.

I have to say I really liked this film, but don't watch it with children. The sex scenes are graphic and this movie is adult oriented and deals with adult subject matter.
Premise: Diane Lane and Richard Gere play a married couple that are relatively happy, but Diane's character has gotten caught up in her mundane life. She goes through a kind of mid-life crisis and ends up having an affair with a very sexy "young" french men, that she bumps into 1 day while in Soho. The affair adds excitement in her life, but then turns it upside down with regret. She decides to end the affair, but then her husband Richard Gere finds out. I won't spoil the rest for you, especially if you're going to see it. The acting is superb and I do recommend it, although I'm a big fan of both Lane & Gere.
It's definitely worth seeing, just watch it in the company of other mature adults like yourself :-)

If you enjoy getting your little cousins to know some idea of unfaithful when they're adult, watch it!
Come'on....there's plenty of nice comedy to enjoy, like ; Pirates of the Caribean 1, Charlie N' choc factory, Uptown girls, Shallow Hal,......or some superheroes flick, X-men I, II, II, Spiderman, Batman or Superman,.....or maybe some fantasy adventure like The Mummy and The Mummy Returns, The Corpse Bride, Sleepy Hollow, etc.

The movie is about a woman who is being unfaithful to her husband. It shows very adult material and should not be watched with little kids. I was amazed at how detailed it got. Hope this helps.

Not a kid movie. It's about a woman who meets a man in the city, and begins having an affair with him. It's a good movie, but it is NOT for kids. I believe there is quite a bit of violence, as well, but it's graphic with sexual situations.
Pick up a movie made FOR kids, if you plan to show one TO a kid.

There's some adult stuff. The title "Unfaithful" is preluding to the lady being unfaithful to her husband.

unfaithful is Rated "R" so not a good idea for children. It's about an unfaithful wife and ultimate tragedy.
