My wife and I are trying to get pregnant. After sex, should she just lay there are let the sperm travel or can she get up and walk around, etc? Is she supposed to lie down with her legs up or what?
I know this sounds like a silly question, but it seems like gravity would be hurting the sperms chance of reaching the egg.
Serious answers please.

Yes, your wife's chances are greater if she lays with her legs elevated for approx 20-30 minutes to give the sperm time to do their thing.
She also probably needs to talk to her obgyn about taking her temperature, and having sex at her peak times during ovulation.
Also make it a relaxing atmosphere for her. A time when her stress level is not at it's highest.

That could help if you have weak sperm that needs the extra boost. Believe it or not but when couples finally quit trying so hard and go about their business they tend to get pregnant. Just enjoy it and not make it into a test and you will conceive, Good luck.

Sperm swims right...what would be the best bet would be to make positive when you ejaculate that you are deep inside her that would give a better chance. Also consult your doctor if you fail to get pregnant in 12 months and sometimes it just takes a bit to get pregnant...keep trying

The doctors will tell you that it is better for her to lay there with her legs elevated for about 20-30 minutes. On the other hand, I never had a problem with this so there may be other theories.

Uh, this has to be a joke, right? I mean, if you are old enough to consider having a child and you don't yet know about getting your wife pregnant, well, uh. Oh never mind. Yes, she should lay there with her legs up. Are you sure you know how the rest of this goes?

Hell`o I`m a mother of 5 and you will get alot of advice on this one but,you will only get pregnant when God get`s ready to give yall the gift of a child.stop trying and enjoy each other why you can it seem`s when you have one then comes more and more so enjoy each other and the quite time together,

if you trying to get her pregnant... the most fertile time for her is around the 14th day from the start of her period. just make sure to have sex from the 13-18th day and you should be able to get pregnant within a couple months .. this is the time when she releases a new egg every month to be fertilized. it worked for me!! i am due sometime during the next 2 weeks. wishing you the best!!!

She can get up and do jumping jacks if she wants. Once you *** in her she sperm will immediately start to travel up. Even though *** seeps out there is still millions more that are already making that journey. Good luck

positioning is not as important as timing if the egg is not there for the sperm to meet then you will not fertilize the egg i suggest getting a book on natural family planing its pretty involved but really simple once you get the hang of it. good luck.

My gyn told us that I was to lay there with my legs elevated for 20 minutes, he also told us that doggie style was the best position to get pregnant in...We have since found out that I can't get pregnant..But that method has worked for alot of my friends...GOOD LUCK TO YOU BOTH!!!
