Heheh... that reminded me of when a friend from India wanted to move here in the U,S. and I asked him "Why?"
He said that he wanted to live in a country where the poor people are fat.
Thanks for the reminder.

I don't own a house. And they might already have houses. And just giving them a house may not be the right answer. How do you choose which one to house? Wouldn't it be better to have a general homeless shelter offering care for all?
And to adress some other issues you may have in the future. The only reason I care about our planet is because I friggin live on it, no planet, no me, simple enough? The reason I care about equality is so I can have as much as everyone else. I don't kid myself that I'm selfless, anything I make a decision to do will beinfit me. (eg. I'm nice to a person, they're nice to me. or. I voulenteer and fell good about myself)
Oh, and my heart is fine. I don't support either American governmental parties (your voting system is a laughable at best)

The poor are just you after getting laid off from your job because of outsourcing. More than 3/4 of the people in this country are less than 3 months away from bankruptcy. People like you are simply ignorant of the fragility of your own situation.

It is only fear that makes you lash out at those that are in the situation that you are afraid of. Instead of being a coward, why don't you do something to insure financial stability for everyone?

PS Since FDR, the median family income in the US has gone up with every Democrat president, and down with every Republican one. Do the math.

Only YOU can end your ignorace!

In this day age, with all our country needs to face, this isn't the time to be bashing your fellow Americans. You should be ashamed of yourself. We have more important issues to deal with. If YOU care about the poor, what are YOU doing about it? If you don't care... then find something productive to do and do it!

Why don't you cons use some of your trickle-down tax-break money to employ people rather than fattening your pockets.

We don't have to. Your neocon Supreme Court says we can take your house and let them live in it.
