To change your screen resolution, in XP anyway, right click on your desktop (with nothing covering it) and click "properties." The resolution setting is under "Settings."

Hold down the (CTRL) key while using your scroll wheel on your mouse, going one way will make the text size larger and going the other way will make it smaller. Otherwise you can go up to your TOOLS menu and select page options or text size.
