What an excellent question. After reading some of the answers, I am convinced that the Islamic Fascists are missing the boat by not trying to recruit more in this country. And that's a very sad commentary.
FOLKS _ WE WERE VICIOUSLY ATTACKED ON OUR OWN SOIL !!
Suicide bombers have wrecked havoc all over the world - not just military targets, mind you, but school buildings, wedding celebrations, crowded market places, religious gatherings, funerals, oh hell, you name it, they've terrorized it!
AMERICA IS NOT THE BAD GUY HERE !
STOP BLAMING AMERICA FOR TRYING TO RID THE WORLD OF ISLAMIC PSYCHOS !!
They'd cut your damned head off just to make another video. I can only hope that allah will run out of virgins soon.
As far as the rest of the world, when France kept stalling for more reasons to enter WWII, the reasons came marching into Paris wearing swastika arm bands !! Some people never learn.

Muslims are the current group who are killing in the name of their god. Don't let the comparisons and equivocations regarding Christians or Jews or other religious groups to confuse the issue. These religions are not conducting war for the sake of their religion. The muslims that literally interpret the Koran believe Jihad (islamic holy war) is the way and their duty. The so called "moderate" muslims just haven't bought into the literal interpretation yet.
We can fight with words on Yahoo Answers. Muslims shouldn't desire that western countries really begin to fight. It won't be pretty.

it really is clone of the Crusades except the jobs are reversed and rather of Christians forcing their faith on absolutely everyone that is Muslims that are in the function of the aggressor. each little thing is coming comprehensive circle. What do you imagine Muslims theory went the Crusades at the same time as through the middle east killing, raping and burning absolutely everyone and each little thing basically because they believed in Allah. i do not condone the acts that the extremists do. yet why do not you get slightly bit attitude on the international and heritage previously you commence asking this questions. because those who do no longer learn from heritage and certain to repeat it.

With the way things are going with Iran, you may get your answer sooner than expected. Glen Beck on CNN even said, "It's all connected (the war in Iraq and the fight against terrorism), I feel like Russell Crowe in 'A Beautiful Mind', you can see it and how it is all connecting together!". Why the liberals have brain farts and can't see what is going on is beyond me. I would just love to see the look on their faces when it happens. By the way, no matter who the President of the United States is, he can't change the Bible's warnings and predictions. WAKE UP LIBERALS!!!!!!

In Iraq there are 300,000 to 500,000 civilians dead now since desert Storm, when Iraq Surrendered. No on knows how many of that number were in fact "terrorist", no one. Iraq is in Civil war now, that will last for years. Bin Laden is in Afghanistan not Iraq, we have 7 times more troops in Iraq then in Afghanistan where the real "terrorist" are. In the end no matter what we do in Iraq Iran will control Iraq. We have over 19,000 wounded and over 2600 dead.
How many more will die in this Republican war.?
BTW, we also have a $9 trillion National debt and the Iraq war will cost working class tax payers $2 trillion over 10 years under Bush and the Republicans. I agree, enough is enough.

I agree, we need to stop them. However, Iraq was a secular country before our invasion, but is now a government based on Islamic law. I fail to see how our actions there did anything but make the problem worse.
Both parties want to stop terrorism, we just disagree on how to do it. Perhaps we should debate that instead of tossing invectives at each other.

Good question Rik, I see some one already blamed America first! Oh well, I wish other people saw things as clearly as you do. I guess they will just wait until the enemy gets close enough to see their white flag!

I am with you RiK! I am always suprised by the people who think we should "stay out" of the world politics! They attacked us here, and I am sure it won't be the last. But, at least they know if they do, there will be HE** to pay!
