100% yes i would no matter in what ton he said it. Now a days I would nto take nothing for a joke. check his cookies on the computer or history or anything like that so see if he is looking up anything that relates to this subject. u can never be too carefull. If he is only joking and u know this for a fact remind him that this is something that we dont joke about. If something happends to u then he might be the first person the cops will look at. If these remark continue make sure family member or friends know about it.

I would not take my husband seriously if he said he was going to poison me. I try to take good care of him as he tries to with me. If a husband were serious in poisoning his wife he will be the last to tell you he would just do it.

Yes.To me that is a threat and should be taken serious and not as a joke.Poison will kill you and that should be considered a threat.Who in their right mind would joke about killing someone? If your husband is joking he has a very sick sense of humor and i am sure you can do much better than that.Your husband said "HE'LL POISON YOU"That sounds like a threat to me and you should tell someone about it...

If you feel sick for 6 months straight and cant seem to shake it i would tell everyone that he threatened that so if you did end up dead someone will remember what you said and have you tested for poison.
And, my boyfriend and i do that all the time so personally i wouldnt take it seriously because i know he isnt serious.
But if my ex husband were to say that I would take it serious.

It would depend on the man and how it was said. But if married, my husband better take a threat like that from me very seriously. I teach chemistry.

A threat is assault. I'd take it seriously. If your husband usually joked around like that, you wouldn't be concerned enough to ask. Proving to the courts he said it is another matter, though.( as far as trying to press charges)

I think it depends on how it was said. Was he joking around before and after? Or was he saying that in a arguement?
Me and my husband joke around, lol My main threat is, if you ever cheat on me, i will not leave, i will stay and make your everyday life a living hell, lol.

Hm mm maybe. Is he abusive etc? He has threatened your life by saying this. My ex said he'd kill me and I didn't take him seriously till he turned into the almighty stalker from hell. If you are scared take out a DVO.
