Theres three lanes on this one road we were on and we were in the middle at a stop light and there were cars on both sides and then there was this fire truck that came up on the right side of us and had his sirens on and the car on our right side turned to avoid it then he came up on my side and was turning left! so needless to say he took the front of our car off but everyone was okay my mom had to take me to the hospital and they found out that i had a panic attack and all that good stuff. I was scurred!!!!! and now my brother is 1 1/2 yrs old and is ornery but okay.

Mom's boyfriend died in 1992 in a car crash just after I turned 12... caught shoplifting in 1995 when I was still 14 (didn't know the consequences)... Dad died in June 1998, I found out when I got home from High School that day (last day of school), than left for basic training in the Army a week after that... in a 3-month span in early 2000 I totalled 2 brand-new Ford's (Ford Focus I had for less than 24 hours in February and Ford Ranger I had for 2 months in May)... 9/11/01 stationed in Ft. Carson, CO (once again one of those "didn't know the consequences" type of things but this was on a bit larger scale though)... Bush announced invasion of Iraq 10 days before the birth of my first son in March 2003 (another "didn't know the consequences" type of thing)... sent my wife and son back to our housing in Germany by German taxi cab than left for Kuwait a couple hours later and 3 weeks after that arrived at Tikrit, Iraq for our 12-month deployment from Feb. 04 - Feb. 05... no I'm not trying to brag or be full of myself or anything like that, these are just lessons in life that either make you or break you and I'm glad to say I'm not broken.

When I was younger We were on our way to church and there were a bunch of us in the car. And my cousin screamed because there was a bee in the back, and the driver turned to see what was the matter, and I saw us heading for this tree, but I was so cared that nothing would come out of my mouth., and we rolled the car. Only one really got hurt. We were lucky. God was watching out for us. We could have all been killed.

when I had to spend 25 hours in the Louisiana superdome in the pitch black dark when hurricane katrina hit. people were screaming and the roof was falling in.and there was no lights and little communication with what was going on outside. that was the scariest.

Being told I was in a coma, and I never knew because when you're in a coma, you're stuck in a dream and you think it's real. It's a complete shock (you lose your breath like a kick in the chest). To realize your mind is powerful enough so that it tricks you into thinking you're actually living; makes you wonder if life really isn't a short coma to something bigger.

I darn near missed hitting a pole when flying off of my motorcycle at 55 MPH and into a ditch. Man, I sure had an angel watching over me that day. $3,000 worth of damage to the bike, I walked away unscathed.

When i was 5, my very over weight cousin fell on me from the top bunk bed onto me. It was a very scary experience to have somebody 10 times your size falling onto you...

when my oldest son was about three years old i went to get him out of bed and he wasn't there. so i searched every room, closet, cabinet, and hidy hole in the two story house we had. on the verge of giving into hysterics i finally looked under his bed and there he was fast asleep.
