All I can say is..pay real good attention in class. Most of the time it's how the teacher explains it to you. I was never good in math so I had to repeat math a lot. In doing so, I found out that there are many teachers with different styles of teaching.
Basically, there are some basic rules and formulas to follow in algebra..as long as you know the rules you can play the game.

Congratulations. You sound like you're an extremely effective youthful woman. i wager to each their own about practise for a math classification. evaluation the way you do fractions, lengthy branch and decimals. there is also an excellent type of ordinary mathematics: including, subtracting and multiplying. some instructors help you employ a calculator for the duration of classification, yet i do not study about checks. good success, yet i'm particular you'd be a success. As continuously, pay interest in college, take notes and do your homework.

The HARDEST part is simply remembering the different rules.
The rules for addition and subtraction, not so hard.
For Multiplication and Division, a little harder. You get those down and the rest is pretty easy, i.e., multiply a - by a + and you get a ? Divide a + by a - and you get a ?

do you know your numbers? like 1..2..3..4.....etc.......? That's always a good start. lol
Don't worry about it, if you go into math with an open mind and are willing to learn, then it should be easy. If you think something is hard, then it will be hard. Just try to associate everything in math with something that you would use in everyday life. Good luck!!!!

I am going Algebra too but I took pre-algebra last year and I think that prepared me enough. You could get some workbooks too. That's what I did to get ready for pre-algebra.

No. If you're not proficient in analytical math you may have to struggle like the rest of us did.. Learn what you can from your local bookstore, the internet, and anyone who knows Algebra.

Memorize multiply chart. Algebra 1 is basic, and most everything you do will involve with the chart. it's easy and you will do just fine.

i took algebra just last year. don't slack off at all or think you can get away with not doing just one homework assignment. it can get hard..but all you have to do is make sure you stay focused and if you don't understand something..instead of just forgetting about it..ask your teacher.
