Honda has typically been rather quiet about an upcoming hybrid, usually only releasing info about a new one coming to the US market within a few months of its release.
(Currently Honda has hybrids:
* Insight (1st production hybrid on US roads, introduced in 1999 for the 2000 model year)
* Honda Civic Hybrid (introduced on Earth Day 2003 for the 2003 model year. it's 2nd design now for the 2006 model year.)
* Accord Hybrid (which is a performance hybrid and not a fuel efficiency hybrid, I don't recall the release date but it's not more than a year old...)
2006 is the last model year for the Insight, though, with only rumors about its replacement being maybe a hybrid Fit.)
There's no estimate listed on http://www.hybridcars.com/cars.html for a Honda Pilot hybrid.
I would think that the fuel economy would depend upon whether Honda tuned the hybrid system to be fuel economy oriented, like the Insight or the Civic hybrid, or if it was tuned for greater performance, like the Accord hybrid. (The Accord hybrid has greater HP and acceleration, and slightly better fuel economy, than any other available Accord drivetrain.)

Who cares. It's more expensive, more complex, heavier, and will only get marginally better mileage.
By the time you factor in the cost of new power cells in 5 years, the gas savings will be negated.
Hybrids are nothing but a liberal feel-good solution to a fake energy problem.
