my yahoo messenger with voice disappears whenever i click to change that I'm available on line?

clear out the yahoo messenger cache ( to do this )

quit yahoo messenger

right click on yahoo messenger icon --> properties --> click the find target button --> inside of the newly opened window find the folder called cache --> open that folder and delete all the contents out of it.

if that doesnt work ( The cache folder is here )

C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\Cache

If that doesnt work then I suggest a chat client, yahelite or yam from www.ourchat.org
