from a baseball guy...

I don't think much of your running back corps... and since that is the backbone of a team, I give you a 6.

QB- 7
Eli Manning is a good Qb and with another season under his belt should be a top 5 fantasy QB. Brees is a question mark because of the shoulder and supporting cast but should put up decent numbers. Depending on who is available in your league you may want to consider another QB though.

RB-6
Steven Jackson is a good rb and should put up some impressive numbers. Westbrook is a question mark. He has looked fairly impressive in camp and pre-season but with the injury past and Donovan more than likely wanting to throw, Westbrook probably won't have great numbers. The trade of Barlow opens up a starting job for Gore but with how poor the SF line is, don't look for big numbers. MAroney, Anderson and White are all good late picks if they can win a job although having 3 of them certainly isn't necessary. Rating is based more on depth than points.

WR-7
Steve Smith obviously needs no explanation. Burress should put up some better numbers but will not nearly be as effective as his one season in Pitt. He is probably overrated and shouldn't be a 2 wr on a team. Burleson might put up some good numbers this year. Jurevicious is an excellent pick up as he will be a focus point of the cleveland offense and with his great td numbers should put up some nice fantasy points in some weeks. Moss is a question mark for me. You have burress and don't think you need moss as well.

TE-7
Shockey is definitely one of the top 5 TE in the league when healthy. Not a bad pickup but hopefully you got him in a later round. Watson is a good TE but nothing to rave about.

Def- 7
Seattle has an improving defense and should be a top 5 Defense this year. I am not sold on NE. Big names but just didn't look like the defense of old last year and an aging Defense is bound to get burned sooner rather than later.

All in all I would rate your team a 6.5-7. Its definitely not an amazing team and I think you have way too many NYG on your team. You don't need a qb and three receivers. I would say package one or two of your Rb's (not JAckson) and maybe Burress or Moss for a starting RB.

Also if he is still available pick up Ahman Green. He may be taken but has a better potential return than gore in my opinion.

QB: Eli good choice. Brees had a major injury. A huge question mark.
WR: I don't know how much playing time Moss will get. Burleson has proven himself. Keep rest.
RB: Bad. While Jackson is a good choice pick his back up Moe Williams. It is a manditory move that any serious fantasy player makes.
TE: Don't know much about Watson. Sources tell me that he is mediocre. Shockey is a op 5 tight end and was a good choice.
DEF: Good

Over all: 7.5

I'd give it a 7 or an 8. Pretty solid. You may want to drop Moss and maybe White. Pick up another RB or WR. See if Mike Bell or Betts are available. Or a WR like Jones or Wilford from JAX. Good luck!

good job - you could have some trouble out of your #2 WR spot; Burress was figured out about week 6 last year.

I like the RB crew; anyone who drafted before a couple of days ago probably got a steal on Gore - that won't happen going forward.

8 of 10

I'm not real high on Manning, but he will have a solid year, pretty good WRs, and pretty good RBs IF Westbrook can stay healthy!!!

Overall I'd give you an 8

I like your team (Give it somewhere around a 6-8). You may want to drop Jurevicious, moss and Lendale white because they arent likely to do anything. Also if M. Bell is still avaliable in the FA pick him up.

QB: B
WR: B
RB: B
TE: A
DEF: B
