About a month ago, some idiot ran me into a curb. I got my car aligned and they checked the axel. They said that everything looks fine. But every now and then, my car makes this pop-pop-pop- sound when I apply the brakes? what could be the problem?

hey, it might be a problem with your ABS system depending if your car has it or not(Anti-lock Brakes) the system could be trying to adjust when it does not need to. Also if you have self-adjusting brakes, this system may be trying to compensate when it does not have to-your best bet is to take it to the dealership specializing in your make of vehicle and let them let you know whats wrong, not too expensive either.

well if you feel the pop-pop-pop in the pedal then yes ABS,but if not then the cv axal maybe slightly bent, but not enough to see. not to mention if you hit a curb then im sure your rim is feeling good right now.

have them check the axle, the lower ball joint, the tire rod end and any other suspension component on that side. also have them look at the brake pads and ignore the guy above me please
