My cat Alcataz, Taz for short. We call him that because he is always trying to escape the apartment. We had recently been to Alcatraz the old prison in San Fransisco and the idea came about.

I had a mixed breed dog that my kids found in a snow storm years ago. We named her Princess, but our neighbor down the hall always called the dog Muttley and it stuck. People would hear the dogs name and say, what type of a dog is she? Duh She lived to be 16 years old.

Shenaboo
It means Mustache. We named my cat this after his long whiskers.
Baby
This is not exactly original but it's funny because we named our rottweiler this. And anyone that has seen a rottweiler knows that they're not like babies

Taxi for a cat...because she was found under a taxi.
Unfortunately for her, she had a run in with a snow plow...should have called her that instead.
