With three kids in the house and long hours at work my husband and I (married 18 years) have sex in spurts. Sometimes we can have it 2-3 times a week and then go for sometimes once a month. I think it just depends on how busy you are and if the kids are sleeping.

Hi, I'm a 40 yr old female who has been married to the same guy for 10 yrs and we have been together for 16 yrs all together. At the beginning it was 5 times a week all the time, but now with kids and life its when we can make time. We usually have sex 1 to 2 times a week. As long as you are happy Sex should not be the most important thing.

With or without kids? Honestly from my relationship, I have a husband needs to have sex at least once a day, he's 45. I think it's a good way to keep things relaxed between the two of you and keeps you close.

Honestly, sex does tend to dwindle in frequency as the relationship goes on. I've been married for 20 years now, and sex is something that almost never happens. Unfortunate, because I happen to love the act, but people and things change, not always for the better.

Honestly...Sometimes 3 or 4 times a week and others 1 time a week sometimes...Just depends on how my hubby is feeling..He has COPD so doesnt always matter that we want to, sometimes we just cant..
