Yes, I am the one.... Atually I like all aquarium animals but fighting bettas the best. I love their coolness, hardiness, beauty etc. I treat my 9 Bettas (4 Males, 5 Females) like my little baby and I hate people disturb or treat any bettas with cruelty.

Though I no longer have bettas, I still have several fish and feel I have the right to answer.
I love all of them like a child. Before I moved up to college, I had three goldfish all about 8 years of age. After I moved up there, two couldn't deal with the big switch and died within a month of each other. I bawled like a baby. Luckily I still have one of the original three and he is going 9 years strong.
Everyone who doesn't feel like their fish is part of their family should not keep fish as they are the people who tend to treat their fish with the least respect and in despicable conditions.

YES! He's about 3, royal blue and an absolute character! He lets me pet him, I have a (small) rubber ball in there that I bounce up and down down in the water every now and then, a floating jellyfish, he loves them. I'm always giving him different things to attract his attention, but he's a little cutie.

Yes!!! I have two male bettas (in different aquariums) named Haku (traditional Japanese name) and Kelso (because he kept running into the glass one day and it reminded me of when Kelso from That's 70's Show saw Hyde kissing Jackie and ran into the sliding glass door). Either way, I love them to death!!!

Yes, I swear my Betta acts just like my boyfriends dog. Whenever I call out its name he come swimming over and when I bob my head around he nods around with me. He is absolutely adorable and very smart.

kinda but i dont show it i dont clean his water as offten as it should be!lol hes alive thou!! i checked him out at a u-scan you know where you check out your self and i put him on the lazer things that you scan and i didnt kno i was not spose to and the cashier lady said he would probaly die tom. and that was lke 4 years ago and i still have the same one ne way my point is that they are hard to kill!!!
