Can the solenoid on the 97 dodge neon be removed from the starter or do you haveto change the whole starter?

I would clean up the starter outside and in and just rebuild the starter with a good rebuilt kit

I am a certified chrysler parts manager. Mopar doesn't service just the solenoid. Just replace the starter.

I belive so, just take a look at the starter! also some soleniods are not even on the starter! good luck
