any ideas of a good family vacation...with plenty of things to do. Every year until now we have gone to Disney World and Universal and are ready for something new.

Well, I recently got back off of a cruise to Alaska. We went on Norwegian Cruise Lines and every night they have a free show like magic or chinese acrobats. They have swimming pools, free restaurants, a theater, game rooms, dancing, computer rooms, arcades and all sorts of other stuff just on the ship alone. You can do all kind of things at ports too. You can go on a train through the mountians, kayaking, helecopter rides, dog sledding, etc. Not to mention, you can whale watch from the ship decks. It was a really fun vacation and I was never bored. I think that everybody of all ages would love it there.

Go to Vermont, go hiking all over the place, if hiking isn't your thing, take the gondola from Stowe to the top of Mt. Mansfield, the tallest mountain in Vermont, go shopping in downtown Burlington on Church St, visit the Echo Science Center, Shelburne Farms, Shelburne Museum, the Burlington bikepath, visit or stay in the VonTrapp Family Lodge, originally built by the same family from the Sound of Music. In the winter go skiing at Bolton Valley Resort. Let me know if this helps.

Go to some state that you know nothing about, go to a resort or something. Here in Arkansas, we have the most beautiful national parks and you can even dig for your own diamonds. A man found a 4 carat yellow diamond that was valued at 50,000$$ just last spring.

Vegas. That's where I've gone for family vacations. Probably not the best if you have small kids...who says a family vacation can't be just you and your spouse?
