I forgot to mention that tonight's win was #80! It's the first time since 1993 that The Tigers have won 80 games or more.

I was NOT refering to it being his 15th win. I was referring to the fact that he hasnt beaten the white sox all year (0-3), and he needed this to boost his confidence.

well still isnt winning the league in wins. Roy Halladay has 16. But Justin Velnader should be the rookie of the year no problem. But dont forget about papelbon either. And maybe Weaver. Heck Verlander might win the CY Young

ANY win by the Tigers is huge right now after this stinkfest they've been on as of late. They've just opened the door and told the Sox and the Twins to just come waltz on in and destroy what we've done this season.

thats soo true plus when you lose 9 of 12 games--any win is BIG!! Hope this starts a 5 to 8 game win streak--as that would basically knock out the chi-sox and those rotten twinkies!
GO TIGERS GO!!

Im a die-hard Yanks fan, but this win was BIG. After all the stuff said about him tippin his pitches, he showed up everyone by pitchin tonight. He's back to his old self now.
Get that Rookie of the Year Trophie ready, cuz he's got it.

fairly particular Verlander receives his twenty fifth win. he's been unstoppable the most suitable 2 months. BQ: Detroit. extra accessible agenda and they have been the most well cherished crew contained in the AL the 2d 1/2 of the year.

Not as huge as the Yankee's five game sweep of the Red Sox. And people like you said they MIGHT win One, yeah well we dominated them, and that stat about 1993 should only embarrass you.

On the game I listened to, Craig Monroe had a little something to do with the outcome.
