You either need a tutor, or someone to teach you how to work smart, instead of just endless studying and not getting anywhere. You school should be able to hook you up with someone to help you.

Either find a hobby, or drop all the extra hobbies you have right now. You may be stretching yourself too thin, and if those ppl you spend time with care, they'll understand. Just make sure that you do something so that you have something to think about other than school while not at school. Sometimes a change in perspective is all thats needed, like randomly exercising for example.

We do need a certain amount of stress to make us stronger and to push us to achieve, so you can't really eliminate that. The challenge here is to achieve a balance and minimize stress so it doesn't harm your body and your performance. Maybe you can try making a flexible and efficient study schedule, but don't forget to take small breaks to walk, talk to people, rest, and/or have fun. Also, you can think of that high school admission as a long term goal that you can achieve only if you take care of yourself and take things a step at a time. Don't engage in catastrophic thinking for every point you lose--it's unproductive and you'd just torture yourself. Just work hard and do what you can. Good grades are just a bonus, an affirmation of how good you worked. Learn, use, and enjoy what you learn. That's what an education is about.

It sounds like you have 2 questions: How to obtain good grades? How to handle or lessen the stress? At one time, I thought all B's & a couple A's were good grades. I know some who have all A's & 1 A- & thought they were devistated. If you do your best with the assistance you can use, maybe that is the good you can do. Handling stress is something you may cope with on your own or sometimes need help from others. Sometimes deep breathing is enough, sometimes we need to talk with people we are close to for ways to help, sometimes we need profesional help. Look at stress as something good & learning how to cope with one thing at a time.

Stress can kill you! You need to be well organized and budget your study time so that you can get your rest. You will not be as sharp in class if you can't stay awake. Study with friends or maybe have your parents help you. It's awesome to have the goals that you have, but they won't mean anything if you're burnt out and miserable.

Stress is good for you, it keeps you on edge. Don't give up, don't cave in, don't take NO for an answer.

The best tactic I've found for immersing myself is to involve myself with it in all facets of it. Humour is the best learning tool.

You could try getting a life. Your report card won't say whether you got 100 or 90, it will just say A. Go out and do something fun! If you think only about school, you will become no fun, unattractive, and no one will ever want to have sex with you.
