The funniest if not best answer was given by Bob Newhart in a recent skit. He was expounding on various forms of music. Classical, modern, dance, operatic etc. When he finished, a stage hand told him that he had forgotten country and western. "I'm sorry I didn't intend to disparage upon the country and western scene. And for those who enjoy country and western music, to disparage means to insult or belittle."

i don't believe of united states of america song is depressing in any respect. There are some songs the following and there that are depressing, yet plenty are not. united states of america song is about existence, and love, and telling memories with the song. i love united states of america song, this is almost continuously all I pay interest to, yet i'm not depressed in any respect. a number of my new fashionable united states of america songs are stuck Like Glue through Sugarland, Groovy Little summer season music - James Otto, Mine - Taylor quick. those songs at the on the spot are not depressing in any respect, and are purely some examples. in any case, what i'm attempting to say is, there are songs accessible that are depressing, yet i imagine there are depressing songs in each address there.

I see country music as always having something that fits my mood. Sadly the stations don't always have the greatest timing with their songs (I'm not going into detail on that one) but you don't have constant depression, constant party or constant whatever's considered in between. To me, I think Trace Adkins 'Songs About Me' sums it all up.

I'm sorry, country music is the main type of music I cannot hear. I'm into Blues, and country is the opposite. Their chord patterns are ALL screwed up as far as I'm concerned! I dislike the 'twang'. I can't play any country. Nor do I want to. Thanks for the opportunity to vent!
