NO THAT WILL NOT CAUSE THE BATTERY TO DIE CHECK THE STARTER IT WILL PULL JUICE IF IT GETS WEAK IT DONT KICK OUT ALL THE WAY CHECK THE ALTERNATOR THEY CAN GO BAD TWO WAYS THEY WONT CHARGE OR THEY WILL OVER CHARGE AN THIS WILL KILL THE BATTERY WHEN YOU CONNECT YOUR POSITIVE CABLE TOUCH IT LIGHTLY TO THE BATTERY POST IF YOU GET A LITTLE SPARK THEN YOU ARE EITHER OVER CHARGEING OR YOU HAVE A DEAD SHORT CHECK THE SENSOR CONNECTIONS MAKE SURE THE WIRES ARE NOT DAMAGED

NO not really,
I would liik more into the ignition switch. A draining battery can be caused by a multitude of issues. If you meant ignition module inside the car then YES that could be a culprit. But be ware that these things sneak up on you.

possibility. the ign coil could have shorted to ground, draining a battery.
