well, if your class is intelligent, you could take advantage of the fact that we had a President Carter and you could use his campaign slogans and the like...He just to say "not just peanuts" (because he was a peanut farmer and he wanted people to know that he was qualified). Or you could say "Forget Ford, vote Carter!" because Ford was his opponent who he defeated in 1976. Since you are running for treasurer, you could use the "Change" campaign of President Obama and make it something clever to do with money change (like glue pennies nickles and dimes on your poster and say "Vote for Carter, he knows how to make change count" or something like that. Good luck!
